Stephen D. Carey, M.D.
Dr. Carey is a 1981 graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical intemship and residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado in 1986. Dr. Carey completed fellowship training in trauma and critical care at Maryland Shock Trauma in 1988. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in surgery and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.).
Dr. Carey has over twenty-six years of surgical experience serving Seaford and the surrounding communities since 1992. He has been President of the Medical Staff and a member of the Board of Directors at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.
